Pfc George G. Lucky graduated from East Technical High School and was employed at Warner & Swasey Company. He had changed his name after school graduation.He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 5 May 1943. He was wounded in France on 11 November for which he was awarded his first Purple Heart.
