1st Lt Roy C. Scheer attended high school for four years and was a driver at the Colletti Transportation Company before he enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 21 July 1941. He was sent overseas on 1 August 1944.
He was reported wounded in action on 11 January 1945. The exact location where he died is not known.
