T/5 Virgil E. Vinyard graduated from California Polytechnic School and was a clerk.He volunteered for the Army of the United States in Los Angeles, California on 30 October 1942.
He was killed by small arms fire in his stomach.
His brother William and his sister Wilmith also served.
