Cpl Melvin L. Frasch enlisted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 20 February 1943 and was sent overseas in September 1944.
He was reported seriously wounded in action on 7 November 1944 and died in a hospital due to artillery shell fragments injuries to his lung.
