Pvt Edgar E. Price Jr. attended high school for four years and was a lineman and serviceman before he enlisted at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas on 25 May 1944.He was officially declared dead one year and one day after he was reported missing in action. At that time his unit was fighting in the vicinity of Sarreguemines, France.
