Pvt Paul A. Waters attended high school for four years and was employed as a manager of the Rauch Billiard Parlor before he enlisted at Camp Dodge Herrold, Iowa on 18 April 1944. He was sent overseas in November 1944.He was killed by small arms fire.
He is remembered at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Adams County, Iowa.
