Pfc Robert P. Chase graduated from Dartmouth College in 1934 and was a credit man before he enlisted.He enlisted in Rochester, New York on 7 December 1943.
Bravely participated in the Battle of the Bulge.
He was captured by the German Army and held at a prisoner of War Camp. He died in the camp.
He was first buried at Block CC, Row 1, Grave 2.
Pfc Chase is remembered at Pine Hill Cemetery, Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire.
