In February 1945, more than 350 U.S. POW's, Jewish and other religions, were sent to Berga concentration camp for forced labor. On 4 April 1945, these POW's were sent on a death march to Bavaria. On 15 April, they were in the vicinity of Marktredwitz, Germany.
