Pvt Abraham Halperin enlisted in New York City, New York on 11 May 1943.He attended 4 years of high school and worked at Cooper Machine and Tool Company.
At the time of his death the 3rd Battalion 423th Infantry Regiment was closed in on the high grounds in the vicinity of the Schönberg-Radscheid road, German-Belgian border.
He was taken prisoner and died a day later. The exact location where he died is not known.
