Pfc Armand W. LaFleur enlisted in Hartford, Connecticut on 2 June 1941.He was taken prisoner on 21 December 1944 and died a week later. The exact location is not known.
Five other brothers also served in Europe or in the Pacific. Wilfred lost a foot in Germany and Adelard suffered a broken back.
