Pfc Marvin R. Willis was married to Juel Langford in Bradford, Florida on 24 March 1944.

He was taken prisoner in the vicinity of Sankt Vith, Belgium on 21 December 1944 and died in Stalag IX-B.

He is remembered at the Maplewood Cementery in Anderson, Madison county, Indiana.
