Pvt Hom Y. Tong worked at Hoy's laundry.

He enlisted in New York City, New York on 4 December 1942.
He was taken prisoner on 21 December 1944 in the vicinity of Sankt Vith, Belgium and was imprisoned in Stalag III-B in Furstenberg, Germany.
He was killed while marching towards the American lines.
