Pvt Kurt Roeser worked for the New Era Manufacturing Company.He enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 18 December 1943.
On 14 March 1944 he was naturalized he was serving at Camp Croft, South Carolina.
He was first buried at the Temporary Camerican Military Cemetery of Limey, France.
His brother, Pfc Harry Roeser, was killed on 30 January 1945 and is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, Netherlands.
