Pfc Leo P. Walsh worked as a bellman before he enlisted in Chicago, Illinois on 10 April 1941.He was reported wounded in action in Normandy and, after revocering, had left an English hospital only weeks before he was killed on Christmans Day.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
