Pfc William H. Edwards was a meat smoker.

He enlisted at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on 25 February 1944 and left for overseas in January 1945.

Pfc Edwards was seriously wounded on 19 February 1945 and died from his wounds on 6 March 1945 in a hospital in France.
