Pvt Thomas W. Horinka was a guard at the Saucon plant of the Bethlehem Steel Company before he enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 19 January 1944.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
