1st Lt Bernard Dunn attended 1 year of high school and worked as a bookkeeper at was employed at Manhattan Furniture Company.He enlisted in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 27 July 1942. He was commissioned a second lieutenant after the completion of Officer Training School in Ft Benning, Georgia. He was sent overseas in July, 1944.
