Pfc Harry Roeser attended Central High School and was employed by the New Era Manufacturing Company.He enlisted at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 26 February 1944 and trained at Camp Blanding, Florida. He was sent overseas in October 1944.
His brother, Pvt Kurt Roeser, was killed on 15 September 1944 and is buried at the Lorraine American Cemetery in St. Avold, France.
