Pfc Robert J. Sleeter attended Roosevelt Junior HIgh School in Rockford and was empoyed by the Sundstrand Machine Tool company.

He enlisted in November 1943 and trained at Camp Blanding, Florida. He was sent overseas in May 1944.

On the picture he is posing for the high school yearbook in 1935.
