1st Lt Kenneth E. Finsness graduated from White Bear Lake High School in 1929 and attended college for one year. He was rug salesman before he enlisted at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland on 14 February 1942.In 1943 he was a mess sergeant of Company C of the 20th Training Battalion and served with a headquarters detachment at Fort McClellan, Alabama. He completed the officer candidate course at the Fort Benning, Georgia.
The picture was taken in high school in 1939.
