Pfc Underwood Duffy enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 11 January 1943 and received his basic training at Camp Haan, Calif., and Camp Carson, Colorado Springs, and went overseas in August. He saw service in England, France, Luxembourg and Germany.He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Co. before entering the service.
