Sgt Richard C. Owen graduated from East Aurora High School in 1943 where he participated in various activities such as Band, Volleyball, the Radio Club and was in the Chorus.He was employed by the Aurora Theater Corp. before he enlisted in Buffalo, New York on 26 February 1944.
