Pfc David A. Teale attended high school for 4 years. He joined the U.S. Army Reserve in New York City, New York on 5 August 1943.A memorial inscription has been made on the tombstone for his parents at North Cemetery, Hampton, Windham County, Connecticut.
Pfc David A. Teale was the son of Edwin Way Teale, a famous American publicist, naturalist, photographer and Pulitzer-price winner. On the picture he poses with his father.
