More information

Pfc Warren E. Lindgren graduated from Camp Hill High School and attended Muhlenberg College before he enlisted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 1 December 1943.

He was killed by a shell fragment while trying single-handedly to contact a rifle company which his machine gun platoon was supporting under the face of enemy heavy fire.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand Failly, France.
