Pvt Robert J. Bohn attended high school for four years and worked at the Veterans Hospital of Chillicothe before he enlisted at Fort Thomas Newport, Kentucky on 7 March 1944.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
