Sgt David R. Reinhart graduated from Lancaster High School with the class of 1943. An honor student, he qualified for the Army Specialized Training Program (ASTP, and attended Norwich University, where he studied engineering.He enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 12 November 1943.
