Pfc Arnold K. Owens graduated from Coon High School in 1942 and was a flame cutter.He enlisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on 25 March 1943 and was sent overseas in September 1944.
Pfc Owens is remembered at Maplewood Cemetery in Wilson, North Carolina with a memorial marker.
