James R. Addison graduated from Haddon Heights High School and was well-known as baseball player troughout South Jersey. He worked for the Esterbrook Pen Company as an electrician.He enlisted at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 27 March 1944 and was sent overseas in September 1944.
