Pfc Vincent F. Hartmann attended high school for two years and worked in the petroleum refining industry.He enlisted in New York City, New York on 15 September 1943.
He was wounded on 5 April 1945 and died the following day. He was initially buried in Ittenbach, Germany and permanently buried at Margraten on 13 December 1948.
