Pfc Allen S. Moyer worked for the Kepner-Scott Shoe Company. He enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 29 September 1943. He received training at Camp Wheeler, Georgia and Fort Meade, Maryland. He went overseas in March 1944.Pfc Allen S. Moyer was first buried at ther Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
