Pvt Rudolph A. Koren graduated from Collinwood High school in Cleveland, Ohio and was employed by the Apex Electric Manufacturing Co.He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 21 December 1943. He had been overseas two months before his death.
He was wounded in action when taken prisoner. He died short after in a dressing station somewhere in Germany.
Both his parents were born in Yugoslavia.
