Pvt Raymond R. Strehlow was employed in the inspection department of the Four Wheel Drive Auto Company.

He joined the Wisconsin National Guard and was called to service in October 1943. He was wounded in action on 12 August 1944.

Pvt Strehlow's remains were found in Hürtgen and initially registered as Unknown X-5480. He was evacuated to Ardennes Cemetery and identified there at the research facilities.
