S/Sgt Theren C. Cox worked as a motorman with the Wood Preserving Company.He enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 18 March 1944 and was sent overseas in August 1944.
He was killed by small arms fire in the chest.
S/Sgt Cox was initially buried in a temporary grave at Henri-Chapelle on 23 December 1944 and was given his final resting place on 25 June 1948.
