Pvt Manuel C. Amarello was a weaver before he enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 16 March 1944.

His remains were found at Hürtgen and initially registered as Unknown X-5380. He could be identified at the research facilities at Ardennes Cemetery.
