Pfc Mike Peroski attended high school for four years and was employed at the Pennsylvania Railroad Company before he enlisted in Erie, Pennsylvania on 20 February 1943.He was killed by artillery shell fragments on his back.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
