Pvt Frank Rua attended high school for four years and was a sheet metal worker at Beech Aircraft.He enlisted at Fort Leavenwort, Kansas on 21 May 1943 was selected for A.S.T.P. He studied engineering at Kansas State College in Manhattan, Kansas.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his chest.
