Pfc Michael C. Goskie attended high school for four years and was employed at the Sharon Steel Hoop Company before he enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 11 February 1943.He was killed by artillery shell fragments on his thigh and colon.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
