Pfc Arnold Gustafson attended high school for four years and was a clerk at the Great Northern Railway, Wisconsin before he enlisted at Fort Sheridan, Illinois on 5 March 1942.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his shoulder.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
