Pfc Louis J. Griewisch attended Silver Creek High School and was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation before he enlisted at Fort Niagara, New York on 7 March 1942 and was sent overseas in September 1944.He is remembered at the Glenwood Cemetery in Silver Creek, Chautauqua County, New York.
