Pfc William E. Lukcso graduated from Torrington High School where he played in the orchestra all four years. He also attended Cornell University for a year taking pre-veterinary courses.He enlisted in Ithaco, New York on 16 November 1942 and was sent overseas in October 1944.
His parents were born in Hungary.
