Pvt Donald C. Brinkman graduated from Wheaton Community High School in 1941 and was employed at Montgomery Ward Company.His remains were recovered and identified in 1964. Two skeletal remains were found in an isolated, unmarked grave, being Sgt Dois Williams and Pvt Donald C. Brinkman. They were identified by dental records and I.D. tags, still around their necks.
Pvt Brinkman is buried at the American Military Cemetery Ardennes in Belgium.
