Sgt Dois J. Williams worked in construction before he enlisted in Tyler, Texas on 21 November 1942.His remains were recovered and identified in 1964.
Two skeletal remains were found in an isolated, unmarked grave, being Sgt Williams and Pvt Donald C. Brinkman. They were identified by dental records and I.D. tags, still around their necks.
Sgt Williams is buried at the Rocky Hill Cemetery in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.
