Pfc. Lucas E. Moore graduated from Roosevelt Junior High School and was employed at Western Cartridge Co.He enlisted on 6 July 1943 and was sent overseas in October 1944.
His last letter received by his parents was written in the Netherlands on 15 November 1944, five days before his death.
His brother Frank also served in Europe.
