More information
Pfc Arthur V. Castro was survived by his widow. Therefore she was the next of kin to decide where her husband would have his final resting place. However all efforts to locate his widow were unsuccesfull and therefore an administrative decision was made to have his remains be permanently interred at Margraten. He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Margraten on 25 November 1944. After being disinterred and after the cemetery was given a permanent status, he was given his final resting place on 15 July 1949.
