Pfc Eugene S. Blakeley enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 27 November 1942. He attended high school for 3 years and worked in a warehouse before he enlisted.He was first buried at Margraten in a temporary grave on 12 April 1945. He was disinterred on 6 August 1948 and his remains were prepared and placed in a casket on 16 August 1948. He was given his final resting place on 2 March 1949.
