Pfc Edward L. O'Toole graduated from Commerce High School in San Francisco, California in 1940.He enlisted in the Army on 7 December 1942 in San Francisco, California and was sent overseas on 20 September 1944.
Pfc O'Toole's remains were found in 2010 and identified in 2011. He was laid to rest on 15 July 2011 at the Golden Gate National Cemetery near San Bruno, California.
