Pfc Armijo graduated from the Sacred Heart High School.

Mrs. Aurora Sanchez of Winslow received a letter of sympathy from Brig. Genl. A.R. Golling, sent from headquarters of the 84th Infantry Division concerning the death of her brother, Pfc. Antonio B. Armijo.

The letter read as follows: "On 22 November 1944, your brother, Pfc. Antonio B. Armijo, Co. 333rd Inf., was killed in action in Germany. The entire division has suffered a personal loss in the death of your brother. He met his death while engaged in action against the enemy During the stress of combat he remained cheerful and cool-headed, and was an inspiration to his fellow soldiers.
Private Armijo was buried in an American Military Cemetery in Holland. A Unite States Army chaplain administered the last rites in accordance with his Catholic faith. All who knew Pfc Armijo join with me in extending to you our heartfelt sympathy and condolence".
