Pfc Cale E. Judd was a livestock farmer.He enlisted in Spokane, Washington on 19 December 1942.
He was taken prisoner on 13 November 1944 and transported to the German army hospital in Utrecht. He was injured by a shell splinter. This injury resulted in the amputation of his left thigh.
He was initially buried with military honors at the Soestbergen Cemetery in Utrecht on 21 December 1944.
