Pvt Archie H. Miller was employed at the Fulton Mills of the American Woolen Company before he enlisted in Syracuse, New York on 12 September 1942. He was sent overseas in September 1943.

Pvt Archie Miller was most likely killd during a shelling of the assembly area in Veghel.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Son, The Netherlands.
