Pfc Gerald F. Curley was a clerk at the Cardinal Hotel in Madison.

He enlisted on 12 November 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a veteran of actions on D-Day in France, during Operation Market-Garden in Holland and the Battle of the Bulge during the siege of Bastogne.
